Use: Mix a small amount (about the size of a quarter) with water to create a gentle lather. Rub hands together to activate the powder. Apply to face, avoiding eye area, using gentle, circular motions and leave on for up to three minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Can be used daily.     Impressed!

    Science meets tradition

    This is an excellent take on the ubtan which is widely-used, traditional form of skin cleansing in India. Unlike the ubtan, this foams a little, which makes spreading it across my face easier. I sometimes mix a little yogurt in place of water and it makes for a good, natural exfoliate. After washing it of and drying my face, I follow up with the Silk oil cleanser and wipe dry with a steaming towel and spray the Sophia rose toner. Overall, one of the best cleanser that's effective, smells great, and is a marriage of science and tradition that's perfect for contemporary uses of good skincare.
